Established in 2003, the Acquisition Research Program (ARP) at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) is 100% sponsor funded by orginaizations within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of the Navy (DON). The ARP was strategically created and nurtured to grow organically as a free and open forum that invites innovation and debate on current defense acquisition topics that can provide intellectual rigor and operational impacts to support the warfighter. Through the combined efforts of NPS faculty and experts from US universities, think tanks, industry, and government; ARP generates a stream of relevant information on defense acquisition policies and management processes, with viable recommendations for improvement.
